The staff were friendly and attentive which was nice. I couldn't help but notice how cozy the bed was in the room, it felt like a small victory in this chaos.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but it was bearable considering the circumstances.

Beautiful lobby, warm hospitality.

bijou is in a great location, very close to public transportation. several good cafes and restaurants are within an easy walk. the staff went above and beyond, helping with travel plans and storing our bags while we cruised. we loved...  

We enjoyed our stay with easy access to the nearby F Streetcar, and our kids loved exploring the city. The hotel even provided complimentary ear plugs, which I appreciated for some peaceful sleep after...

I really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made my stay pleasant, and the hotel’s prime central location made it easy to walk to iconic spots like the Cable Car Museum and Chinatown without any hassle.

I basked in the charming vintage vibe, with its art deco décor that felt like a trip back in time. The complimentary wine upon check-in was a delightful welcome that set a warm tone for my stay. Plus, access to superb local...  

I stayed at the Bijou for three nights and had a mix of experiences. The location is excellent, just a short walk to public transport and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. I loved the quirky decor, which added a charming touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist with travel plans and even stored my luggage while I explored the city. The bed felt comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure too. However, the area had a noticeable presence of homelessness, which made it a bit unsettling at times. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited, just muffins and apples every day. Some street noise filtered into my room at night, making it hard to get quality sleep. It could definitely use more soundproofing or better window insulation. Overall, the hotel had a cozy vibe, but improvements in breakfast variety and noise control would make it even better.

The room was comfy with a flat-screen TV, cable channels, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. There’s a fan for heating. A hairdryer and linen. The lobby has a cozy vibe, and I liked the complimentary coffee and tea. Breakfast is a basic buffet but had fresh pastries. Really appreciated the luggage storage after check-out.

During my business trip, I found Bijou to be conveniently located near Union Square, making it easy to access various business venues. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided prompt assistance with my requests, such as setting up my presentation equipment and...  

Wi-Fi was spotty, but staff were very friendly and stored my bags until check-in.
